In the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of The Emporium Auctioneering Co Ltd. (in voluntary liquidation):

Notice is hereby given pursuant to section 291 of the Companies Act 1955, that a general meeting of the members/creditors of the company will be held at Coopers & Lybrand, corner Raffles and Bower Streets, Napier on 25 May 1989 at 2 p.m. for the purpose of:

(a) Having an account laid before the meeting showing the manner in which the liquidation has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of during the term of the liquidation.

(b) Hearing any explanations that may be given by the liquidator.

Proxies for the meeting must be lodged at the address given below not later than 4 p.m. on 24 May 1989.

“That a declaration of solvency having been filed in accordance with section 274 (2) of the Companies Act 1955, the company be wound up voluntarily and D. L. Pearson of Horwath & Horwath, Wellington, Chartered Accountants, P.O. Box 2419, Wellington, be and is hereby appointed liquidator.”

Notice is hereby given that by a duly signed entry in the minute book of the above-named company on the 28th day of February 1989, the following special resolution was passed:

“That a declaration of solvency having been filed in accordance with section 274 (2) of the Companies Act 1955, the company be wound up voluntarily and D. L. Pearson of Horwath & Horwath, Chartered Accountants, P.O. Box 2419, Wellington, be and is hereby appointed liquidator.”

Notice is hereby given that the undersigned, the liquidator of Desno Holdings Ltd., which is being wound up voluntarily, does hereby fix the 26th day of May 1989, as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims, and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 308 of the Companies Act 1955, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before the debts are proved, or as the case may be from objecting to the distribution.

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of The Promotional Ideas Co. Ltd. (in liquidation):

Notice is hereby given that by a duly signed entry in its minute book signed in accordance with section 362 (1) of the Companies Act 1955, the above-named company on the 4th day of May 1989, passed the following resolution:

That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue in business and that it is advisable to wind up, and that accordingly the company be wound up voluntarily.

Notice is hereby given pursuant to section 362(8) of the Companies Act 1955, that a meeting of creditors of the above-named company will be held at the First Floor, 18 Broadway, Newmarket on Friday, 12 May 1989 at 11 a.m.

Business:

  1. Consideration of a statement of the position of the company’s affairs.
  2. Appointment of a liquidator.
  3. Appointment of a committee of inspection if required.

Proxies: General and special proxies to be used at the meeting must be lodged at the office of the provisional liquidators not later than 4 p.m. on Tuesday, 9 May 1989.

Take notice that on the 5th day of April 1989, an application for the winding up of Manohau Aluminium Limited by the High Court was filed in the High Court at Hamilton.

The application is to be heard before the High Court at Hamilton on the 21st day of June 1989 at 10 a.m.

Any person, other than the defendant company, who wishes to appear on the hearing of the application must file an appearance not later than the second working day before that day.
