Notice of Resolution for Voluntary Winding up

Notice is hereby given that by a duly signed entry in the minute book of this company on the 14th day of April 1989, the following special resolution was passed by the company, namely:

“That the company, having filed a declaration of solvency pursuant to section 274 of the Companies Act 1955, be wound up voluntarily.”

Notice of Winding Up Order and First Meetings of Creditors and Contributories

Take notice that an order for the winding up of this society was made by the High Court at Christchurch on Monday, the 10th day of April 1989 (as matter No. 61/89).

An order was also made appointing Anthony George Lewis and Stephen John Tubbs, chartered accountants, Christchurch, as special managers in terms of the Building Societies Act 1965 and section 257 of the Companies Act 1955.

Notice is hereby given that the first meeting of creditors/depositors shall be held at the James Hay Theatre, Christchurch Town Hall, 86–88 Kilmore Street, Christchurch, on Wednesday, the 26th day of April 1989 at 11 a.m.

The meeting of contributories (shareholders) is to follow. It is important to read the notices recently sent to creditors and contributories regarding attendance and voting rights.
