Land in Raglan County Acquired for Government Purpose (Wildlife Management) Reserves

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Acting District Solicitor of the Department of Lands, Hamilton, declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for Government purpose reserves, subject to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977, and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette and that the land firstly described shall be added to the adjoining Awaora Stream Wildlife Management Reserve and that the land secondly, thirdly and fourthly described shall be added to the adjoining Lake Whangape Wildlife Management Reserve.

Declaring an Interest in Land for Irrigation Purposes in the Bay of Islands County

Pursuant to sections 20 (1) and 28 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, a right to convey water containing the rights and powers set forth in clauses 1, 2 and 5 of the Seventh Schedule to the Land Transfer Act 1952, as modified by the agreement dated the 17th day of January 1989 between the Crown and Graeme Walter Schofield of Kerikeri, farmer, a copy of which may be perused at the office of the Department of Lands at Auckland and identified by No. 25/30/33, is hereby acquired over the land described in the Schedule hereto for irrigation purposes and shall vest in the Crown on the 6th day of April 1989.
