Conservation

Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of the Reservation over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Director of Land and Fauna of the Department of Conservation hereby revokes the reservation as a road reserve over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares the said land may be disposed of by the Manukau City Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such monies to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

North Auckland Land District—Manukau City

455 square metres, more or less, being Lot 91, D.P. 19820, situated in Block XV, Otahuhu Survey District. All certificate of title 48C/896.

New Plymouth City Boundary Definition Notice 1988

Pursuant to section 48 of the Local Government Act 1974, the secretary for Local Government gives the following notice:

Notice

  1. This notice may be cited as the New Plymouth City Boundary Definition Notice 1988.

  2. The boundary of New Plymouth City is hereby defined as set out in the Schedule hereto, that boundary having been altered by the New Plymouth City—Sugarloaf Islands Inclusion Order 1987 which was published in the New Zealand Gazette on 11 June 1987, page 2538.

Schedule

Boundaries of New Plymouth City

All that area in the Taranaki Land District, bounded by a line commencing on the Tasman Sea coast of the westernmost point of Section 3, S.O. 12309 and proceeding north-easterly along the mean high water mark of the sea to the south-eastern boundary of Section 181, Omata District (S.O. 7675); thence southerly along the said south-eastern boundary and generally north-easterly along the north-western boundaries of the said section (including the islands of Mataora, Pararaki and Motuotamatea), to the western boundary of part Section 811, Omata District; thence generally easterly along the current city boundary as defined on S.O. 11140, to the south-western corner of Lot 1, D.P. 8434; thence generally north easterly along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of the said Lot 1, south-easterly along the north-eastern boundaries of Section 944, Grey District, Lots 2 and 3, D.P. 8434, and Section 945, Grey District, to a point on the north-western boundary of part Harbour Reserve F, as shown on S.O. 11141; thence north-easterly along the said boundary, the north-western boundaries of Calvert Road, and Section 221, Fitzroy district to the northern corner of the said section; thence generally north-easterly along the mean high water mark to the north-eastern corner of Weymouth Street; thence generally easterly along the high water mark as defined on S.O.’s 1606, 1605, and 1604, to the south-western corner of Woolcombe Terrace; thence generally north-easterly along the mean high water mark to a point in line with a line parallel to and 30 metres distant from the eastern side of Wills Road; thence southerly to and along the last-mentioned line to the north-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 8334; thence north-easterly and south-easterly along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 8334, to that Lot’s easternmost point; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of the said Lot 1 to a point 40 metres distant from the perpendicular to the eastern side of Wills Road (before road widening); thence southerly along lines parallel to and 40 metres distant from the eastern side of Wills Road to a point in line with the roadside boundary 103° 12’ 10”, 4.02 metres, shown on S.O. 10126; thence easterly to and southerly along lines parallel to and 35.98 metres distant from the eastern side of Wills Road to the north-western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 7555; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundary of the said Lot.
