- No person shall for the purpose of hunting or killing any game on the waters of Lake Mahinapua, build or use any fixed stand, pontoon, hide or maimai, except within 45 metres of the lake water margin.

Third Schedule
Amendment of the Notification of Game Licences and Licence Fees Contained Within the Third Schedule of the Open Season for Game Notice 1988
Pursuant to regulation 5 and 13 of the Wildlife Regulations 1955 the Minister of Conservation hereby amends the Third Schedule, Game Licences and Licence fees (hereinafter referred to as “the Principal Notice”), of the Open Season for Game Notice 1988 published in the New Zealand Gazette, No.54 of Tuesday 29 March 1988 at pages 1280 to 1281.

Title and commencement—
(1) This amending notice may be cited as the Game Licences Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Third Schedule of the Open Season for Game Notice 1988.
(2) This amending notice shall come into force on the 6th day of May 1989 -
Amendments—
Class: New Zealand Game Licence & Junior New Zealand Game Licence.(3) The dates “8 May 1988” of the Principle Notice are omitted and the following date is substituted: “7 May 1989”.
(4) The words “1988 open season for game” of the Principle Notice are omitted and the following words are substituted: “1989 open season for game”.
(5) The date “7 May 1988” of the Principle Notice is omitted and the following date is substituted: “6 May 1989”.
Class: One Week Game Licence & One Day Game Licence.
(6) The dates “16 May 1988” of the Principle Notice are omitted and the following date is substituted: “15 May 1989”.
Class: Part Season Goose Licence & Class: Junior Part Season Goose Licence.
(7) The dates “29 August 1988” of the Principle Notice are omitted and the following date is substituted: “28 August 1989”.
(8) The words “1988 open season for game” of the Principle Notice are omitted and the following words are substituted: “1989 open season for game”.
(9) The date “7 May 1988” of the Principle Notice is omitted and the following date is substituted: “6 May 1989”.
