(9) The portion of the Mangatāwhiri River lying between the Great South Road and the eastern boundary of the North Island main trunk railway right of way.
(127) The tramway licence area; Ohinemuri water race licence area; the Black Cock race licence area; and the special site licence area occupied by the Martha Gold Mining Co. Ltd., Waihi.
Declaring an Open Season for Game in the Firth of Thames for the 1989 Game Season
An open season for game is declared in that area of the Firth of Thames hereinafter named the Firth of Thames Open Game Area and being that area that is enclosed between the boundary of the Auckland Acclimatisation District and a line connecting the points on that boundary by passing through Orere Point on the west side of the Firth and the southern headland of Fantail Bay on the Coromandel Peninsula, subject to the conditions specified hereto and in the First Schedule.
Conditions

Game may only be hunted or killed in the Firth of Thames Open Game Area in compliance with conditions specified for the Auckland Acclimatisation District 1989 open season for game.

Any licence authorising the holder to hunt or kill game within the Auckland Acclimatisation District for the 1989 open season for game shall similarly authorise the holder to hunt or kill game in the Firth of Thames Open Game Area.

Definition of Areas
Area A1: Opotiki County, Whakatane and Rotorua Districts, those parts of Matamata and Tauranga Counties that lie within the District, and all that area of Taupo County lying north of the shores of Lake Taupo and the Napier-Taupo State Highway No. 5.
Area A2: All that area of the Taupo and Hawke's Bay Counties contained within the District and south of the Napier-Taupo State Highway No. 5.
Area B1: All of the Waiapu, Waikohu and Cook Counties.
Area B2: All that part of the Wairoa County within the District.
Area C1: That part of the Taumarunui County within the District.
Area C2: All of the Waimarino County and those parts of Waitotara, Wanganui and Rangitikei Counties within the District.

Shooting hours: 6.15 am to 6.15 pm except that during the period 9 June to 2 July 1989 inclusive, Canada goose may be hunted or killed 24 hours per day in that area situated between the Wairoa River Mouth, and the Nuhaka River estuary and south of the Gisborne to Wairoa railway line.
Decoy limit: No limit
Special Conditions
- With the exception of freehold waters, it shall be an offence to hunt or kill game from unmoored boats during the opening weekend only, being Saturday 6 May 1989 and Sunday 7 May 1989.

Special Conditions

In the Tauranga Harbour and Little Waihi Estuary no mammal shall be erected that will impede the use of navigable channels and waters of the harbour or estuary.

Maimais erected in the Tauranga Harbour and Little Waihi Estuary must be dismantled and removed at the close of the season.
Closed Game Areas:
Add: The Katikati Bird Gardens (DPS 11568), and DPS 16403, both situated in Block II Aongatete S.D., and all contiguous waters.
