Including Maori Freehold Land in an Existing Reservation and That the Purpose for Such Existing Reservation be Redefined
Whereas by Order in Council dated 12 February 1948 published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 8 at page 157, the land described in the First Schedule hereto was set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a meeting place and cemetery reserve for the common use of the members of the Ngatiporou tribe.
And whereas pursuant to section 439 (5) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Second Schedule hereto be included in the said reservation and that the reservation be redefined to include “firewood reserve” for the common use and benefit of the Ngatiporou tribe.
