All persons prior to hunting under the provisions of this
amending notice shall notify the Wanganui Acclimatisation
Society of their intention to hunt and obtain a hunting diary
from the acclimatisation society and record therein the hunting
or killing of any paradise shelduck.

Pursuant to section 4 of the Judicature Act 1908, His
Excellency the Governor-General, in the name and on behalf
of Her Majesty the Queen, has been pleased to appoint

The Honourable Johann Thomas Eichelbaum

to be Chief Justice of New Zealand, and to direct that he enter
upon the said Office on the 6th day of February 1989.
