Summary of Bills Introduced
Church Property Trust (Canterbury) Amendment Bill
The Bill extends the powers of the Church Property Trustees to enable the Trustees to lend monies from the Reserve Fund to the General Trust Estate of the Diocese for the purposes of making loans to Parishes within the Diocese and to make provision for post-ordination training and additional travelling allowances.
Productivity Council Bill
This Bill establishes a Productivity Council with the object of increasing growth and productivity in New Zealand’s industry, commerce and government through research, training and educational programmes.
Social Welfare Bill
