Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation the Director of Estate Protection Policy hereby revokes the reservation as a local purpose (utility) reserve over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Waimairi District Council at current market value, the proceeds from such sale to be paid into the council’s reserve account.

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Auckland Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Franklin County Council on 22 August 1989.

‘That, subject to confirmation of the Glenbrook Reserve Committee that it wishes to proceed with the development of the reserve, that, statutory notice having been given, the Franklin County Council hereby declares, pursuant to section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, that the land described in the Schedule hereto be vested as recreation reserve.’

1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Rotorua 1989, No. 17.

2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part II of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.
