Pursuant to section 3 (1) of the Waimakariri River Improvement Amendment Act 1930, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the North Canterbury Catchment Board selling the land described in the Schedule hereto at such upset price and subject to such terms and conditions as the Minister of Lands may approve.

New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981
Declaring Road to be Acquired for Railway Purposes and Railway Land to be Road at Hunterville
Pursuant to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 the Chief Executive of the New Zealand Railways Corporation:
(i) Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and all other powers enabling under that act, hereby declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is acquired for and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen for railway purposes.
(ii) Pursuant to section 114 of the Public Works Act 1981, with the prior written consent of the Minister of Railways, declares the land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be road and vested in The Rangitikei County Council.

Wellington Land District—Rangitikei County
Road Acquired for Railway
All that piece of road containing 564 square metres, situated in Block VI, Oingo Survey District, adjoining Part Railway Land; as shown marked “B” on plan L.O. 35378 (S.O. 35649), lodged in the office of the New Zealand Railways Corporation at Wellington.

Railway Declared to be Road
All that piece of railway land containing 551 square metres, situated in Block VI, Oingo Survey District being Part Railway Land; as shown marked “A” on plan L.O. 35378 (S.O. 35649), lodged in the office of the New Zealand Railways Corporation at Wellington.

Pursuant to section 138 (1) (b) of the Public Works Act 1981, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a motorway.

Canterbury Land District
All that portion of State Highway 74 in the County of Heathcote and in the Borough of Lyttelton, being part of the Christchurch-Lyttelton motorway and being the tunnel and those traffic lanes, ramps, shoulders and verges to the fences, commencing at the intersection with Ferry Road and proceeding in a southerly direction to the north side of the intersection with Norwich Quay.
As shown on plan NRBCH/40, deposited in the office of the District Roading Engineer, Ministry of Transport at Christchurch and thereon coloured red.
