Sale of Liquor Act 1962

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—East Coast Licensing Committee

Pursuant to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962 as amended by section 22 (1) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, David Oughton, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the East Coast Licensing Committee on 12 September 1989 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Bridge Hotel, Matawhero.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve). Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) Fridays (except in any week where the premises are open on both Christmas Eve and Saturdays). Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(c) Saturdays (not being New Year’s Eve). Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(d) Christmas Eve. Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(e) New Year’s Eve. Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o’clock in the morning on New Year’s Day.

Harbours Act 1950

Defining the Limits of Napier Harbour Pilotage District

PAUL REEVES, Governor-General

Pursuant to section 211 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Paul Reeves, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby define the limits of the Napier Harbour Pilotage District, within which pilots may act for the purposes of the said Act, to be all the waters comprised within the parallels of latitude 39° 25′S and 39° 29′S and bounded on the east by longitude 176° 59′E and the west by high water mark on the mainland.

The warrant dated 25 July 1989, under the hand of His Excellency the Governor General defining the limits of the Napier Pilotage District is hereby revoked.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, signed this 22nd day of September 1989.

A Secondary Use Granted Over Part Repanga (Cuvier) Island

Pursuant to section 191 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Transport declares that the Department of Conservation is hereby granted as a secondary use over the part Repanga (Cuvier) Island being a land within a 50 metre radius of the lighthouse (Cuvier Island Light) as shown on S.O. Plan 62827, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland for a nature reserve.
