Conservation

Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Forestry, being the Minister designated responsible for the department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes and it shall hereinafter be so held.

Schedule

Nelson Land District—Waimea County

835 square metres, more or less, being Lot 2, D.P. 4730, situated in Block I, Tutaekuri Survey District.

2023 square metres, more or less, being part Sections 18 and 18A Takaka District, situated in Block X, Waitapu Survey District, S.O. Plan 10695.

Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of the Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Director of Land and Fauna of the Department of Conservation hereby revokes the reservation over a service lane reserve described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Pukekohe Borough Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council's reserves account, such monies to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the Reserves Act 1977.
