Notice of Approval of Rear Reflectors in Terms of the Traffic Regulations 1976

N o t i c e
Pursuant to regulation 88 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*, and pursuant to powers delegated to me by an Instrument of Delegation, dated the 2nd day of November 1987, I, Hugh Cameron Matheson, Senior Automotive Engineer, hereby approve for the purposes of regulations 62 (2) and (3) of the said regulations, rear reflectors of the make and type described in the Schedule hereunder for use as standard equipment in any Holden model VN series motor vehicle.

Schedule

Rear reflectors manufactured to the 1988 SAE J594f specification, with the following identification and vehicle model:

All lenses have GM and part number moulded in raised figures on the lower edge of the lens for the sedan model, and on the upper edge of the lens for the wagon model.

Approval of Safety Glass for Windscreens

Pursuant to subclause (1) of regulation 88 of the Traffic Regulations 1976, safety glass of the type described in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved for the purposes of regulation 73a of the said regulations.

1. Laminated safety glass complying with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 205 and identified by the markings “SUNMAT”.

2. Laminated safety glass complying with Australian Standard 2080 with the exception of light transmission requirements, having a minimum light transmission of 70 percent, and identified by the markings “NM Laminated Safety Glass FHP”.
