R. O. Bradley Estate Amendment Bill
Notice to Introduce Bill
Notice is hereby given of the intention of the Orton Bradley Park Board to apply for leave to introduce into Parliament a Private Bill to be named the R.O. Bradley Estate Amendment Bill.
The objects of the Bill are as follows:

To empower the Board to acquire further land to add to the Park and subject to the proposed limitation to sell land.

The power to appoint a member of the Board is to be vested in Automobile Association (Central) Incorporated in place of Canterbury Automobile Association (Incorporated).

The balance date for the Board is to be amended from 31 March to 30 June in each year.

The Board is to be empowered to make by-laws for specific purposes.

Breaches of the Boardβs by-laws will constitute an offence and will render offenders liable to the penalties, as provided.
The promoter of the Bill is the Orton Bradley Park Board whose address for service is at the offices of Messrs Duncan Cotterill, Ninth Level, Clarendon Tower, corner Worcester Street and Oxford Terrace, Christchurch.
A copy of the Bill may be inspected at the Christchurch District Court Office, Law Courts Building, Armagh Street, Christchurch.

Notice of Intention to Apply for Leave to Introduce a Private Bill in the House of Representatives
Church Property Trust (Canterbury) Act Amendment
Take notice that the Church Property Trustees intend to promote a Private Bill to amend the Church Property Trust (Canterbury) Act 1879 to confer on the Church Property Trustees power to use part of the income of the Bishopric estate for the payment of travelling allowances to the spouse of the Bishop of Christchurch, power to use part of the income for post-ordination training, to confer upon the trustees wider investment powers specified in the Second Schedule to the Anglican Church Trusts Act 1981 and power with the approval of the Synod or the Standing Committee of the Diocese of Christchurch to lend money to the General Trust Estate of the Diocese for the purpose of making loans to Parishes within the Diocese and to make other amendments of an administrative nature of the Act.
Communications or notices to the promoter may be sent to its solicitors Bradley West Clarke List, 77 Sophia Street, Timaru (P.O. Box 71, Timaru) and a copy of the proposed Bill may be inspected in connection with Standing Order 263 of the House of Representatives at the District Court Office at Christchurch.
