TARIFF CONCESSIONS REVIEW NOTICE

TARIFF CHAPTERS: 1 to 14, 16, 17, 18, 29, 32 to 35, 38, 42, 45, 46, 50 to 53, 58, 60, 64, 66, 72, 73, 75, 76, 82, 86 and 97

Notice is hereby given that consideration of the following Tariff Chapters has been completed in terms of the Tariff Concession Review announced by the Minister of Commerce on 12 January 1989.

The Chapters, where amended, are set out below for information purposes. Interested parties wishing to comment on the outcome of the review as it relates to these Chapters, should do so in writing to the Comptroller of Customs, PO Box 2218, Wellington (attention Concessions Project Team) by 7 October 1989. Concessions currently in force under items in Chapters 1 to 6, 9 to 14, 16, 35, 45, 46, 50, 52, 53, 60, 64, 66, 75, 86 and 97 have not been considered transferrable and, accordingly, no changes to the Part I structures of those Chapters are proposed.

It is proposed to revise Chapters as follows: 7, 8, 17, 18, 29, 32, 33, 34, 38, 42, 51, 58, 72, 73, 76, 82.
