R. O. Bradley Estate Amendment Bill

Notice to Introduce Bill

Notice is hereby given of the intention of the Orton Bradley Park Board to apply for leave to introduce into Parliament a Private Bill to be named the R.O. Bradley Estate Amendment Bill.

The objects of the Bill are as follows:

  1. To empower the Board to acquire further land to add to the Park and subject to the proposed limitation to sell land.

  2. The power to appoint a member of the Board is to be vested in Automobile Association (Central) Incorporated in place of Canterbury Automobile Association (Incorporated).

  3. The balance date for the Board is to be amended from 31 March to 30 June in each year.

  4. The Board is to be empowered to make by-laws for specific purposes.

  5. Breaches of the Board’s by-laws will constitute an offence and will render offenders liable to the penalties, as provided.

The promoter of the Bill is the Orton Bradley Park Board whose address for service is at the offices of Messrs Duncan Cotterill, Ninth Level, Clarendon Tower, corner Worcester Street and Oxford Terrace, Christchurch.

A copy of the Bill may be inspected at the Christchurch District Court Office, Law Courts Building, Armagh Street, Christchurch.
