Notice to Abolish Special Quarantine Ground at Warkworth (Notice No: 4928; QUAL/0966/WAR)
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to section 11A (2) of the Animals Act 1967, the Special Quarantine Ground (Notice No 4368; New Zealand Gazette, 19 May 1988, No. 85, page 2076), being land Lot 2, D.P. 113847 at Perry Road, Warkworth, comprising approximately 8.4680 hectares, more or less, in the Mahurangi Survey District is hereby abolished from the date of this notice in the Gazette.

Animals Protection Act 1960
Approval of Code of Ethical Conduct (Notice No. 4923; 100-A1-078)
Pursuant to section 19A of the Animals Protection Act 1960 and on the advice of the National Animal Ethics Advisory Committee, I hereby approve the adoption by the New Zealand Dairy Board Livestock Improvement Division of the approved code of ethical conduct of the University of Waikato.
Notice No. 4361 approved by me on 14 April 1988 is hereby revoked.
New Zealand Grown Fruit and Vegetables Regulations 1975
Prescribed Grade Standards for Shipments of Kiwifruit to Australia
This notice revokes the Prescribed Grade Standards for Shipments of Kiwifruit Notice 1989, No. 4588, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 23 March 1989.
Pursuant to Regulation 13 of the New Zealand Grown Fruit and Vegetables Regulations 1975, the Director-General of Agriculture and Fisheries hereby gives notice that the grade for the export of kiwifruit shall be set out in this notice.
Notice

Title—(a) This notice may be cited as the Kiwifruit Class 2 Grade Notice 1989 (No. 4922).
(b) This notice shall come into force on the 10th day of August 1989.

Application—This notice determines the grade for kiwifruit applicable to shipments to Australia.

Title and grade—The grade mark assigned to this grade shall be Class 2.

Definition—This grade applies to kiwifruit being fresh fruit grown from cultivars of Actinidia deliciosa (A. Chev.) var. Deliciosa (Syn A. Chinensis) to be supplied fresh.

Definition of terms—These shall be the same as specified in paragraph 5 and the First Schedule of the Standard Grade for the Export of Kiwifruit Notice 1984, New Zealand Gazette, No. 3225: Ag. 12/2/14, published on Thursday, 5 April 1989.
