Animals Act 1967

Approved Woolmarking Preparation (Notice No. 4919; Ag. 1310-38)

Pursuant to sections 69 and 94 of the Animals Act 1967 and after consultation with the New Zealand Wool Board, I hereby give notice that the woolmarking preparation set out in the Schedule hereto (being a product of Mainland Paint and Chemical) is approved for sale and use in marking wool of sheep.

This approval takes effect on the day following the date of publication in the Gazette.

Schedule

Scott’s Holdfast marking ink: black, blue, green and red.

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to section 11A (1) of the Animals Act 1967, land on D. Boyd’s property, Westshore Goldfish Hatcheries, 62 Meeanee Quay, Westshore, Napier, comprising 511 square metres, being Lot 1, Deposit Plan 7796, C.T. 130/207, Hawke’s Bay Land Registration District, is hereby declared to be a Special Quarantine Ground for the detention of imported animals.

Animals Protection Act 1960

Approval of Code of Ethical Conduct Notice No. 4918 (100-A1-07)

Pursuant to section 19A of the Animals Protection Act 1960 and on the advice of the National Animal Ethics Advisory Committee, I hereby approve the adoption by Gibco-BRL of the approved code of ethical conduct of the University of Auckland.

Direction to Broadcasting Commission in Relation to Funding of New Zealand Symphony Orchestra Limited

To the Broadcasting Commission

Pursuant to section 97 of the Broadcasting Act 1989, I, Jonathan Lucas Hunt, Minister of Broadcasting, direct that you shall, in the year ending on the 30th day of June 1990, advance to New Zealand Symphony Orchestra Limited the amount of four million, nine hundred and ninety one thousand, five hundred dollars ($4,991,500) (exclusive of Goods and Services Tax), being money collected by your pursuant to regulations made under section 82 of the Broadcasting Act 1989.
