Notice to Creditors to Prove Debts or Claims

Notice is hereby given that the undersigned, Robert John Willis, the liquidator of Shetland Distributors Ltd., which is being wound up voluntarily, does hereby fix the 5th day of August 1989, as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims, and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 308 of the Companies Act 1955, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before the debts are proved, or as the case may be, from objecting to the distribution.

That as a result of the company ceasing to trade and a declaration of solvency having been filed in accordance with section 274 (2) of the Companies Act 1955, the company be wound up voluntarily and Robert John Willis of Staples Rodway, Chartered Accountants, P.O. Box 3899, Auckland, be appointed liquidator.

The directors of W.B. Espie Ltd. (in liquidation) wish to advise all its customers and suppliers that the current liquidation of the company is the final planned process of the company rearrangement.

The trading arm of the company was transferred to Espie Shopfitters Ltd. approximately one year ago and W.B. Espie Ltd. (in liquidation) has not traded during that period.

The directors further wish to emphasise that Espie Shopfitters Ltd. is trading on the same basis as it has for the past year and on the same basis W.B. Espie Ltd. (in liquidation) had traded for the past 20 years and will continue to do so and is in no way affected by the voluntary liquidation of W.B. Espie Ltd. (in liquidation) which is a solvent company with no outstanding liabilities.
