Declaring Land to be Road and Road Stopped in Whakatane District

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation to the Minister of Lands, the District Manager of the Department of Lands, Hamilton:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be road and vested in The Whakatane District Council.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the pieces of road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped, and

(i) that the area firstly described now known as Section 1, S.O. 53913 shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 27B/1297 subject to the fencing covenant contained in transfer 191055 and memoranda of mortgage No. H. 710840.2 and H. 717398.2, South Auckland Land Registry.

(ii) that the areas secondly described now known as Sections 2, 3 and 5, S.O. 54009 respectively, shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title, Volume 429, folio 50, South Auckland Land Registry.

Amending a Notice Setting Apart Portion of a Public Reserve for a State Primary School in Waipa County

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Acting District Solicitor, Department of Lands, Hamilton hereby amends the notice dated 24 May 1989 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 1 June 1989, No. 94, at page 2162, declaring land set apart for a State primary school by omitting reference to “Suburbs of Whatawhata” and substituting “Town of Whatawhata”.

Land Acquired for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes in Hauraki Plains County

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Acting District Solicitor, Department of Lands, Hamilton, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in The Hauraki Catchment Board on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.
