22.3 Separate rates for each package

Except where otherwise provided, each parcel shall be charged for separately.

22.4 Parcels consigned inter-island

The zone rates for parcels traffic consigned inter-island include the sea or air charge, whichever may apply.

22.5 Dangerous goods

Dangerous goods shall not be accepted as parcels traffic.

Omit and substitute new clause “23.”:

23. PARCELS CLASSIFICATION

Except as may be otherwise provided parcels shall be charged for carriage by Corporation services in accordance with the following alphabetic commodity classification.

24. PARCELS RATES

24.1 Ordinary door to door parcels rates

Ordinary rates for parcels conveyed within or between the parcels zones specified in clause 24.6 shall be charged as follows:

24.2 “Owners’ risk”

The rates in clause 24.1 are at “limited carriers risk” and will be reduced by two percent where consignors require that the consignment be carried at “owners’ risk”.

24.3 Short haul super saver

Parcels consigned between two terminals for a total distance not exceeding 150 kilometres, may be forwarded and charged for at short haul super saver rates.

Short haul super saver coupons in books of twenty coupons each are available, on a prepaid basis only, upon application at major terminals.

24.4 Delivery

Parcels consigned to the following destinations will be delivered free of charge within defined areas. Parcels over 35 kilograms in weight will be subject to an additional charge of $1.20 per addition 35 kg or part thereof:
