RULES OF ORIGIN – DETERMINATION OF IMPORTED MATERIAL

NOTICE 1988 – 1989/1

In terms of Regulation 70(b)(ii) of the Customs Regulations 1968, 'Goods Wholly Manufactured in Australia', the following materials have been determined:

Cocoa Paste, not defatted

This determination is effective from 30 June 1988

CUSTOMS EXCHANGE RATES NOTICE (NO. 14) 1989

Pursuant to section 148 of the Customs Act 1966, the Comptroller of Customs, in accordance with the power delegated to him by the Minister of Customs under section 9 of that Act, hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. Short Title and commencement – (1) This notice may be cited as the Customs Exchange Rates Notice (No. 14) 1989.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 3rd day of July 1989.

  1. Exchange rates – Where under any provisions of the Customs Act 1966 any amount which is required to be taken into account for the purpose of assessing duty or any other purpose is not an amount in New Zealand currency, the currency of that amount ascertained in equivalent in New Zealand currency of that amount shall be the amount in New Zealand currency so ascertained in accordance with the rate of exchange set out in the Schedule to this notice.

  2. Revocation – The Customs Exchange Rates Notice (No. 13) 1989, published in the New Zealand Gazette, Customs Edition No. 95, dated 6th June 1989, on page 2181 is hereby revoked.
