Maori Land Development Notice

Pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

Notice

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Hamilton 1988, No. 8.

  2. The notice(s) referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

  3. The land(s) described in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Declaring Land at Sockburn to be Set Apart for Railway Purposes

Pursuant to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 52 of the Public Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for railway purposes.

Canterbury Land District—Paparua County

3440 square metres, more or less, being part of Rural Section 1858, situated in Block X, Christchurch Survey District; being all the land comprised and described in conveyance 14007 (deeds index 8 c/s 59).

His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

Pursuant to section 5A of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Transport and the Minister of Conservation and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

Order

  1. This order may be cited as the Port Boundary Order 1988.

  2. This order shall come into force on the 1st day of June 1988.

  3. Definition of Boundaries—The areas of seabed, foreshore and waters described in the Schedule to this order are hereby encompassed within Port Boundaries.

Schedule

  1. Auckland Harbour Board.

(a) Commercial Port, Waitemata Harbour: All that area of foreshore, seabed and waters enclosed by a line commencing at a point at mean high-water springs in position 36° 50.70'S, 174° 45.07'E; thence to position 36° 50.58'S, 174° 45.05'E; thence to position 36° 50.43'S, 174° 45.12'E; thence to position 36° 50.51'S, 174° 45.27'E; thence to position 36° 50.24'S, 174° 45.96'E; thence to position 36° 50.60'S, 174° 47.34'E; thence to position 36° 50.95'S, 174° 47.35'E; thence along the line of mean high-water springs to the point of commencement as more particularly shown edged red on Plan M.D. 16480, deposited in the office of the Secretary for Transport, Wellington, and Plan D.O.C. (C.M.) C.O. 1, deposited in the office of the Director-General of Conservation, Wellington.

(b) Chelsea Wharf: All that area of foreshore, seabed and waters bounded by a line commencing at the western corner of Lot 4, D.P. 21430, then continuing generally southerly to and along the south-western side of Chelsea Wharf and its extension to 10 metres from the south-eastern side of the wharf; thence north-easterly 10 metres from and parallel to the south-eastern side of the wharf for a distance of 190 metres; thence north-westerly to a point at mean high-water springs and thence generally along the line of high-water springs to the point of commencement as more particularly shown edged red on Plan M.D. 16451, deposited in the office of the Secretary for Transport, Wellington, and Plan D.O.C. (C.M.) C.O 2, deposited in the office of the Director-General of Conservation, Wellington.

(c) Onehunga Wharf: All that area of seabed, foreshore and waters enclosed by a line commencing at a point at mean high-water springs in position 36° 56.01'S, 174° 46.93'E; thence to position 36° 56.02'S, 174° 46.86'E; thence to position 36° 56.13'S, 174° 46.85'E; thence to position 36° 56.10'S, 174° 47.17'E; thence in a generally north-westerly direction along the line of mean high-water springs to the point of commencement as more particularly shown edged red on Plan M.D. 16482, deposited in the office of the Secretary for Transport, Wellington, and Plan D.O.C. (C.M.) C.O 3, deposited in the office of the Director-General of Conservation, Wellington.

  1. Bay of Plenty Harbour Board.
