Notice of Intention to Apply for Leave to Introduce a Private Bill
In the matter of the Standing Orders of the House of Representatives relating to private bills; and in the matter of a Private Bill intituled:
"An Act to widen the powers of variation of trusts in respect of land sold or given to the Anglican Church by Maori, and to amend the Anglican Church Trusts Act 1981".
Notice is hereby given that it is intended to apply for leave to introduce a Private Bill intituled as above.
The objects of the Bill are to widen, in respect of land sold or given to the Anglican Church by Maori, the powers of variation of church trusts at present contained in the Anglican Church Trusts Act 1981.
The promoter of the Bill is John Edwin Towle of Auckland, solicitor.
Communications or notices to the promoter may be sent to the promoter at the offices of Hesketh Henry, Solicitors, 2 Kitchener Street (Private Bag), Auckland 1, and a copy of the Bill may be inspected at their offices.
A copy of the Bill may also be inspected at the office of the District Court at Auckland.

Notice of Intention to Apply for Leave to Introduce a Private Bill
Take notice that the Board of Trustees of the National Art Gallery, the National Museum, and the National War Memorial intends to promote a Private Bill, the objects of which are to confirm the administration of the residuary estate of Ellen Harriet Eames, late of Wellington, married woman; to provide that references in her will to the Board of Science and Art shall be read and construed as references to the Board of Trustees of the National Art Gallery, the National Museum, and the National War Memorial or its successors in respect of the National Art Gallery, references to the Science and Art Act 1913 shall be read as including a reference to the National Art Gallery, Museum and War Memorial Act 1972, and references to the Dominion Art Gallery shall be read as including a reference to the National Art Gallery; and to modify the terms of the will.
The promoter of the Bill is the Board of Trustees of the National Art Gallery, the National Museum, and the National War Memorial, whose address to which communications or notices concerning the Bill may be sent is care of Messrs Bell Gully Buddle Weir, Solicitors, P.O. Box 1291, Wellington.
A copy of the proposed Bill together with a copy of the will of Ellen Harriet Eames dated 17 November 1926 may be inspected in accordance with Standing Order 263 of the House of Representatives at the District Court, Wellington.
