And I further direct that all bores 61 metres or less in depth made after the date of this notice and within the 1.5 kilometre zone will be licensed in accordance with the criterion of exceptional circumstances as determined by the Minister of Energy, except for those prospective drillers of new bores who have received prior to the date of this notice a siting and design approval certification from a geothermal inspector pursuant to regulations 25 and 29 of the Geothermal Energy Regulations 1961 in which cases a licence shall be given for a period of three months from the date of this notice.

Mental Health Act 1969
Approval of Admission and Detention of Persons
Pursuant to section 117 (4) of the Mental Health Act 1969, I, David Francis Caygill, Minister of Health, hereby approve the admission of persons into, and detention of persons in Dunedin Hospital pursuant to section 19 of the Mental Health Act 1969, as if Dunedin Hospital were a hospital within the meaning of the Mental Health Act 1969, and as if the medical superintendent or other officer for the time being in charge of Dunedin Hospital were a superintendent under the Mental Health Act 1969.

Re-appointment of Disaster Recovery Co-ordinator
Pursuant to section 69 (2) of the Civil Defence Act 1983, I, Michael Bassett, Minister of Civil Defence, hereby re-appoint
John Kinloch McKenzie
as Disaster Recovery Co-ordinator for the East Cape Region for a period of up to 28 days effective from Wednesday, 1 June 1988.
The disaster recovery co-ordinator shall exercise the functions, duties and powers contained in section 72 of the Civil Defence Act 1983.
