GAZETTE NOTICE

REVOCATION NOTICE

The Minister of Customs hereby gives notice, under Section 158 of the Customs Act 1966, that the following Tariff concessionary approvals are revoked with effect from 1 June 1988:

'All published general approvals for which the tariff classifications have not been converted to the HCDCS format'.

INITIATION OF COUNTERVAILING INVESTIGATION

Pursuant to the provisions contained in Section 136N of the Customs Act 1986 Notice is hereby given by the Comptroller of Customs of the initiation of the investigation to determine both the existence and effect of the alleged subsidisation of the goods set out in the Schedule, being satisfied that sufficient evidence has been provided that:

  • The goods exported or intended to be exported to New Zealand are being subsidised and,
  • By reason thereof material injury to an industry has been or is being caused or threatened.
