delegated to him by the Minister of Customs under section 9 of that Act, hereby gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. Short title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Customs Exchange Rates Notice (No. 11) 1988.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 23rd day of May 1988.

  1. Exchange rates—Where under any provisions of the Customs Act 1966 any amount which is required to be taken into account for the purpose of assessing duty or any other purpose is not an amount in New Zealand currency, the amount to be so taken into account shall be the equivalent in New Zealand currency of that amount ascertained in accordance with the rate of exchange set out in the Schedule to this notice.

  2. Revocation—The Customs Exchange Rates Notice (No. 10) 1988, published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 71, dated the 28th day of April 1988, on page 1654 is hereby revoked.

Education Act 1964

Seddon High School Board of Governors Notice 1988

Pursuant to section 51 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice:

Notice

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Seddon High School Board of Governors Notice 1988.

(b) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of June 1988.

  1. The Board of Governors of Seddon High School, shall be constituted as follows:

(a) One member appointed by the Auckland Education Board;

(b) Seven members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school;

(c) One member elected by the teachers at the school;

(d) One member appointed jointly by the Seddon Marae Committee and the Auckland District Maori Council;

(e) Four members to be co-opted by the Board of Governors itself, if and when it thinks fit.

  1. This notice is in substitution for the Seddon High School Board of Governors Notice 1973*.

Gas Act 1982

Increased Pressure Gas Installation System

Pursuant to section 61 of the Gas Act 1982 and to regulation 37 of the Gas Industry Regulations 1984, approval is hereby given for the construction, maintenance and operation of gas installations in accordance with the interim specification titled “Increased Pressure Installation System” Revision 1, issued by me on 15 May 1987, or subsequent revisions, provided the work is carried out under a valid gasfitting permit issued by Hamilton City Council.

(Note: The effect of this approval is to add Hamilton City Council to the schedule of franchise holders approved to certify increased pressure installation systems.)
