Draft New Zealand Amendment Available for Comment
Pursuant to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft amendment is being circulated.
Number and Title of Specification
DZ 4541/A1 Draft Amendment No. 1 to NZS 4541:1987 Automotive fire sprinkler systems. Gratis.
This draft amendment deals with a number of aspects which have arisen since publication or which were deliberately deferred to permit publication of the Standard to proceed. It includes fire stopping requirements for unsprinklered roof and ceiling spaces, fire sprinkler inlets to multi-valve systems, order of start for diesel and electric pumps, and use of materials with a high spread of flame index.
All persons who may be affected by this publication and who desire to comment thereupon, may obtain copies from the Standards Association of New Zealand, Wellington Trade Centre, 181β187 Victoria Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.
The closing date for receipt of comment is 28 February 1988.

Local Government Act 1974
Waitemata City Boundary Definition Notice 1987
Whereas, by notice dated 24 September 1985, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 3 October 1985, No. 185, page 4320, the Secretary for Local Government purported, pursuant to section 48 of the Local Government Act 1974, to define the boundaries of Glen Eden Borough and Waitemata City following boundary alterations between the two districts by Order in Council made on 19 December 1983 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 2 February 1984, No. 10, page 262.
And whereas that notice was not correct in that it contained errors in the description of the boundary of Waitemata City;
And whereas it is desirable that the Second Schedule to that notice be revoked:
Now therefore, pursuant to section 48 of the Local Government Act 1974, the Secretary for Local Government gives the following notice.
Notice

This notice may be cited as the Waitemata City Boundary Definition Notice 1987.

The description of the boundary of Waitemata City as contained in the Second Schedule of the notice dated 24 September 1985 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 3 October 1985, No. 185, page 4320 is hereby revoked.

The boundaries of Waitemata City are hereby defined as set out in the Schedule hereto, those boundaries having been altered by Order in Council published in the New Zealand Gazette, 2 February 1984, No. 10, page 262 and which came into force on 1 April 1984.

All that area in the North Auckland Land District, City of Waitemata, containing 37,550 hectares, more or less, bounded by a line commencing in Block I, Waitakere Survey District, at the intersection of the line of mean high water of the Tasman Sea and the middle of the Waitakere River and proceeding north-easterly generally up the middle of the Waitakere River to its junction with the production northerly of the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 57923, in Block XI, Kumeu Survey District; thence southerly along that production, to and
