Land Acquired for River Control Purposes in Blocks VI, X, XI, XII, and XV, Hukerenui Survey District and in Block IV, Purua Survey District, Whangarei and Bay of Islands Counties

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired, excepting, as to the area eighty described in the Schedule, all coal, ironstone, ores, quarries, clay for bricks, sand and gravel and other mines or minerals in, under and upon the said area excepted by conveyance 291467 (R. 341/237), for river control purposes.
