Special Condition
- It shall be an offence to hunt or kill game from any unmoored boat on the Turakina River during the first two days of the open season for game, being Saturday 7 May 1988 and Sunday 8 May 1988.

Daily Bag Limits
Waterfowl
An aggregate bag of not more than 20 waterfowl being grey, shoveler and mallard duck, paradise shelduck, pukeko, black swan and Canada goose.
EXCEPT THAT WITHIN THE TOTAL OF 20 WATERFOWL, THE FOLLOWING SPECIAL BAG LIMITS APPLY:
Black swan (area A), 2
Black swan (area B), 1
Black swan (except areas A, B), 0
Canada goose (except area C), 0
Upland Game Birds
California and brown quail, no limit
Cock pheasant, 4
Shooting hours: 6.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
Decoy limit: No limit.
