Amending a Declaration Acquiring Land for the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway in the Borough of Otahuhu

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the declaration dated the 20th day of February 1987, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 26 February 1987, No. 27, at page 957, acquiring land for the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway in the Borough of Otahuhu, pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, by deleting from the heading and the preamble the words “for the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway” and substituting the words “for the purposes of the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway”.

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired service lane and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for an access way, and further declares that the land in both Schedules shall vest in The Waihi Borough Council on the 24th day of March 1988.
