Appointment of Member to the National Hydatids Council (No. 4321; Ag. 1/53/2/21)

Notice is hereby given by direction of the Minister of Agriculture that pursuant to section 21 of the Dog Control and Hydatids Act 1982, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint

Grant Martindale, principal health protection officer of Wellington (an officer of the Department of Health)

as a member of the National Hydatids Council and shall hold office during the pleasure of the Governor-General.

Pursuant to section 56 of the Fisheries Act 1983, the Director Operations, MAFFish, acting pursuant to a delegation from the Director-General of Agriculture and Fisheries (dated in Wellington on the 24th day of April 1987) hereby gives the following notice:

Pursuant to regulation 4 of the Game Industry Board Regulations 1985, I hereby appoint

Alan Charles Ferens, investment manager of Auckland (on the nomination of the New Zealand Game Industry Association)

to be a member of the Game Industry Board for the residue of term for J. D. Scandrett, resigned, which is due to finish on 10 July 1988.

Kiwifruit Marketing Licensing Regulations 1977

Fixing Rate of Kiwifruit Levy 1988–89 (Notice No. 4323; Ag. 4/54/10/1)

Pursuant to regulation 18 of the Kiwifruit Marketing Licensing Regulations 1977, and as I have received a recommendation from the New Zealand Kiwifruit Authority, I hereby give notice that:

(a) The rate of kiwifruit levy for the year ended 31 March 1989 shall be 60 cents in respect of each tray of kiwifruit exported.

(b) The full amount of the levy shall be due and payable to the authority by the exporter when the tray is exported but the exporter may recover from the producer an amount not exceeding 40 cents per tray.
