Auckland Regional Authority

Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963

Special Order

That the Auckland Regional Authority, in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, section 37, and in pursuance of the authority conferred upon it under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and in exercise of all other powers enabling it on that behalf, doth hereby resolve by special resolution intended to operate as a special order to borrow the sum of five million dollars ($5,000,000.00) as a special loan to be known as Parks and Reserves Loan No. 23 1987, $5,000,000 for the purpose of acquiring and developing property for use as a regional park.

The foregoing special order was passed at an ordinary meeting of the Auckland Regional Authority held on 14 December 1987, and confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the said authority held on 15 February 1988, having meantime been advertised in the Auckland Star on 1 February 1988 and 8 February 1988.

The common seal of the Auckland Regional Authority was hereto affixed in the presence of the chairman and secretary.

Special Order

That the Auckland Regional Authority, in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, section 43, and in pursuance of the authority conferred upon it under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and in exercise of all other powers enabling it on that behalf, doth hereby resolve by special resolution intended to operate as a special order to borrow the sum of forty-four million dollars ($44,000,000.00) as a special loan to be known as Drainage Loan No. 130 1987, $44,000,000 for the purpose of extending and upgrading of the main sewage system.

The foregoing special order was passed at an ordinary meeting of the Auckland Regional Authority held on 14 December 1987, and confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the said Authority held on 15 February 1988, having meantime been advertised in the Auckland Star on 1 February 1988 and 8 February 1988.

The common seal of the Auckland Regional Authority was hereto affixed in the presence of the chairman and secretary.

Local Government Act 1974

Declaration of Road as Regional Road in Auckland City

Notice is hereby given that, in pursuance of the powers vested in it by section 363 of the Local Government Act 1974, and every other power enabling it in that behalf, the Auckland Regional Authority, at its ordinary meeting held on 15 February 1988, resolved as follows:

1. That the authority is of the opinion that the roading land shown hatched on Drg. No. 720 016-10A

(i) forms part of a system of arterial and regional traffic routes [including motorways and State highways] providing for through traffic movement and interconnecting, or providing access to, or discharge from, important areas of traffic generation in the region, and

(ii) is of material advantage to the region as a whole or as a substantial part thereof.

2. That the roading land described in the Schedule hereto be declared, and the same is hereby declared, to be regional road, within the meaning and for the purposes of the said Act, the prior written consent of the National Roads Board under section 363 of the said Act having been obtained, and following prior consultation with the constituent district within which the said road is situated.

Schedule

All that portion of roading land situated in Auckland City, in the North Auckland Registration District, and shown hatched on Drg. No. 720 016-10A. The said portion of roading land is shown in detail on the plan, but a general description is as follows:

The portion of roading land 73.93 metres long, across the Ellerslie Racecourse entrance, and measuring 402 square metres in area.

A copy of the plan is available for inspection at the office of the Secretary, Auckland Regional Authority, Regional House, 121 Hobson Street, Auckland 1, during normal office hours.
