Draft New Zealand Standard Specification Available for Comment
Pursuant to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft New Zealand standard specification is being circulated.
Number and Title of Specification
DZ 5458 Code of practice of gas distribution. $26.56 (incl. GST)
This Code sets out minimum safety requirements and makes recommendations for the design, construction, installation, inspection, testing, operation and maintenance of gas distribution.
Gas distribution systems within the scope of this Code comprise all pipelines, mains, service pipes, regulators, meters, valves and associated fittings, whether above or below ground, under the control of and used by the gas franchise holder to distribute gas from the outlet of a gas works or gate station, up to and including the meter/regulator facility supplying a consumer. It covers all systems operating at pressures up to 2000 kPa.
All persons who may be affected by this publication and who desire to comment thereon, may obtain copies at the price shown, from the Standards Association of New Zealand, Wellington Trade Centre, 181–187 Victoria Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.
Note—Payment must accompany all requests for drafts.
