Lieutenant Nevin David Grieve is placed on the Emergency List of Officers of the Naval Reserves until 12 January 1992, with effect from 13 January 1988.

Lieutenant (on prob.) Graeham Leonard Wiblin is placed on the Emergency List of Officers of the Naval Reserves until 25 November 1989, with effect from 26 November 1987.

Sub Lieutenant (temp. Lieutenant) B. P. Clough, B.E.(MECH.), to be Lieutenant with seniority and effect from 1 September 1985.

The following Sub Lieutenants (temp. Lieutenants) to be Lieutenant with seniority and effect from 1 September 1986:

Sub Lieutenant (on prob.) W. L. Blick, B.Sc., to be Lieutenant (on prob.) with seniority and effect from 1 January 1988.

The appointment of Midshipman Hamish Alexander Muir is terminated with effect from 1 December 1987.

ROYAL NEW ZEALAND NAVAL VOLUNTEER RESERVE

The appointment of Lieutenant Commander G. R. Gibson, M.B.E., V.R.D., is extended until 17 January 1989.

Lieutenant Neil Leslie Stevenson, B.COM., is transferred to the Inactive List of the RNZNVR with effect from 30 October 1987.

Ensign N. M. Longstaff to be Sub Lieutenant with seniority and effect from 1 January 1988.

Ensign (temp. Sub Lieutenant) R. P. Thomas, B.A., LL.B., to be Lieutenant with seniority and effect from 1 January 1985.

INACTIVE LIST OF THE ROYAL NEW ZEALAND NAVAL VOLUNTEER RESERVE

Lieutenant Commander David Neal Humphrey, V.R.D., is placed on the Retired List of the RNZNVR with effect from 15 August 1982.

The period of service of the following officers on the Inactive List of the RNZNVR is terminated with effect from the date shown:

  • Surgeon Commander John Frederick Rivers, M.B., B.S., M.R.C.P., 10 April 1985.
  • Surgeon Lieutenant Graeme Paul Bennetts, M.B., Ch.B., 30 October 1987.
  • Lieutenant Keith McDonald Hunter, M.D.S., F.D.S.R.C.P.S., DIP.ED., 1 April 1985.

EMERGENCY LIST OF OFFICERS OF THE NAVAL RESERVES

Commander Francis Gilbert George is placed on the Retired List of the RNZN with effect from 2 May 1987.

The period of service of Lieutenant Commander Nicholas Graham Flegg, B.SC.(HONS), on the Emergency List of Officers of the Naval Reserves, is terminated with effect from 17 December 1987.
