Declaration of Lands Required for Regional Road Improvement Land in Mount Albert City

Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of the powers vested in it by section 373 of the Local Government Act 1973, the Auckland Regional Authority, at its meeting held on 19 September 1988, resolved as follows:

That the authority is of the opinion that the roads or streets or parts thereof and other lands shown shaded on Drawing No. 720716-01A.

(i) form part or will form part of a system of arterial and regional traffic routes (including motorways or State highways) providing for through traffic movement and interconnecting or providing access to or discharge from important areas of traffic generation in the region; and

(ii) are or will be of material advantage to the region as a whole or a substantial part thereof.
That the lands described in the Schedule hereto be declared and the same are hereby declared to be regional road improvement land within the meaning and for the purposes of the said Act following prior consultation with the constituent authority with which the lands are situated.

Schedule

All those portions of land situated in Mount Albert City in the North Auckland Registration District shown hatched on the authority’s Drawing No. 720716-01A. The lands affected are shown in detail on the said plan but a general description of them is as follows:

Notices for this Gazette from Government Departments, Authorities and Agencies of State must be received by the Gazette Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, by noon on Tuesday, 13 December 1988.

The first New Zealand Gazette for 1989 will be published on Thursday, 12 January 1989 and the deadline will be Tuesday, 10 January 1989.
