Medical Practitioner Specified as a Medical Practitioner Who May Prescribe, Administer or Supply Controlled Drugs for the Purpose of Treating Persons Dependent on Controlled Drugs

Pursuant to section 24 (5) (a) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1975, I, David Francis Caygill, Minister of Health, hereby authorise

Sidney Caslake Hawes as a medical practitioner who may prescribe, administer or supply controlled drugs for the purpose of treating drug dependency.

Approval of Persons Authorised to Perform Vaccination Against Tuberculosis

Pursuant to regulation 6 (4) of the Tuberculosis Regulations 1951, the Director-General of Health hereby gives notice that the following persons, additional to those contained in the Gazette, dated 21 July 1988, No. 127, page 2882, have been approved as qualified to perform vaccinations against tuberculosis in accordance with those regulations.

District Courts Act 1947

The District Courts Act 1947 Transfer of Records of Stratford Court

Whereas in pursuance of a direction of His Excellency the Governor-General the sitting of the District Court at Stratford is to be discontinued as from the 2nd day of December 1988:

Now therefore, pursuant to the provisions of subsection (1) of section 70 of the District Courts Act 1947, I do direct that the records of the Stratford District Court be delivered on the 3rd day of December or as soon thereafter as may be practicable to the Registrar of the District Court at Hawera.
