Development Finance Corporation of New Zealand Amendment Act 1988

The DFC New Zealand Limited (Transfer of Shares) Notice 1988

Pursuant to section 1 (3) of the Development Finance Corporation of New Zealand Amendment Act 1988, the Minister of Trade and Industry gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title—This notice may be cited as the DFC New Zealand Limited (Transfer of Shares) Notice 1988.

2. Date of transfer of shares in capital of DFC New Zealand Limited—The legal title to the shares in the capital of DFC New Zealand Limited held by the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Trade and Industry was transferred on the 18th day of November 1988.

Explanatory Note

This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

Section 1 (3) of the Development Finance Corporation of New Zealand Amendment Act 1988 provides that sections 4, 9, 10, 13, and 15 (4), (5), (6), and (7) of that Act come into force on the day on which the legal title to the shares in the capital of DFC New Zealand Limited held by the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Trade and Industry is transferred. It also provides that the publication in the Gazette by the Minister of Trade and Industry of a notice stating that title to those shares was transferred on a date specified in the notice is conclusive evidence that title to the shares was transferred on that date.

This notice states that the legal title to the shares was transferred on 18 November 1988.

Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road, State Highway No. 2

It is noted that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 17 August 1988 and pursuant to section 153 of the Public Works Act 1981, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. SH 2, Hamua Road to Eketahuna Section, from its junction with Fafetas Road to its intersection with the Wellington-Napier railway as more particularly shown on Sheets 1 of Plan LA 51/11/2 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the District Roading Engineer, Ministry of Transport, Wellington and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

It is noted that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 17 August 1988, and pursuant to section 153 of the Public Works Act 1981, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. SH 2 (Pokeno to Wellington) from its junction with Bowentown Road, Athenree, to its junction with Lindemann Road near Katikati, as more particularly shown on Sheets 1 to 12 of Plan L.A. 23/31/1 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the District Roading Engineer, Ministry of Transport, Hamilton and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.
