New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority

New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority Act 1987

Approved Export Marketing Strategy and Export Licence Requirements for Squash

Pursuant to section 30 of the New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority Act 1987, the Authority hereby gives notice with respect to the following prescribed product:

Squash (Cucurbita maxima)

that:

(a) on the 15th day of November 1988, the authority approved the export marketing strategy with respect to this prescribed product pursuant to section 28 of the said Act; and

(b) pursuant to section 29 of the said Act, the authority has fixed the 1st day of December 1988, as the date this export market strategy shall come into force; and

(c) from the 1st day of December 1988, any person who wishes to export Squash will be required to hold an export licence issued under the said Act; and

(d) applications for an export licence should be made to the New Zealand Horticulture Authority, P.O. Box 1417, Wellington, on the form provided by the authority, on or before the 30th day of November 1988.

Game Industry Board Regulations 1985

Game Industry Levy

Pursuant to regulation 7 of the Game Industry Board Regulations 1985, Amendment No. 2, notice is given that the Game Industry Board hereby fixes the rate of additional levy payable in respect of failure to pay, or late payment of, amounts of Board levy payable on or after 27 October 1988 and before the 1st day of October 1989 at 10 percent of the amount of levy unpaid.

This additional levy for failure to pay or late payment may be applied by the Board at a rate of 10 percent on the outstanding balance following expiration of the period within which payment is required to be received by the Board, and shall be payable by the proprietor of the deer slaughtering premises or game packing house concerned.

The first New Zealand Gazette for 1989 will be published on Thursday, 12 January 1989 and the deadline will be Tuesday, 10 January 1989.
