Notice Changing Name of Petone Technical Institute

Pursuant to section 69 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education gives the following notice:

Notice

(a) This notice may be cited as the Petone Technical Institute change of name to Hutt Valley Polytechnic notice.

(b) This notice shall come into force on 1 September 1987.

The name of Petone Technical Institute constituted by notice in the New Zealand Gazette on 28 July 1983 is hereby varied to Hutt Valley Polytechnic.

Notice Changing Name of Carrington Technical Institute

Pursuant to section 69 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education gives the following notice:

Notice

(a) This notice may be cited as the Carrington Technical Institute change of name to Carrington Polytechnic notice.

(b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette.

The name of Carrington Technical Institute constituted by notice in the New Zealand Gazette on 14 April 1983 is hereby varied to Carrington Polytechnic.

Notice Changing Name of Wellington Teachers College

Pursuant to section 67B (2) of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education gives the following notice:

Notice

(a) This notice may be cited as the Wellington Teachers College change of name to Wellington College of Education notice.

(b) This notice shall come into force on 1 January 1988.

The name of Wellington Teachers College constituted by notice in the New Zealand Gazette on 17 May 1984 is hereby varied to Wellington College of Education: Te Whanau o Ako Pai ki Te Upoko o Te Ika.

Pursuant to section 51 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice:

(i) This notice shall be cited as the Dannevirke High School Board of Governors Notice 1987.

(ii) This notice shall come into force upon the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

The Board of Governors of Dannevirke High School shall be constituted as follows:

(a) One member appointed by the Hawke's Bay Education Board;

(b) One member elected by the teachers of the school;
