NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE

Local Government Act 1974

the Rodney County Council hereby resolves to become a district council.

(c) That the said district council shall be constituted as from 1 April 1989 and shall be known as the ‘Rodney District Council’. The said district council shall remain the same body corporate as the former county council. The membership of the said district council will remain the same as the former county council until the time of the 1989 Triennial Election.

(d) That the leader of the ‘Rodney District Council’ be a chairman elected by the council from amongst its members.

(e) That Rodney County Council further resolves that copies of the foregoing resolution shall be issued as required under seal, signed by the county chairman and county manager.”

Issued under the Common Seal of Rodney County Council, pursuant to resolution No. 2335/8/87 passed at an ordinary meeting of Rodney County Council held on Friday, 28 August 1987.

Order of the Council in Disciplinary Session

Order in respect of Registered Psychiatric Nurse Terrance Francis Walklin

In exercise of its powers under sections 42 (1) (b), (2) (a), (3), (9), 48A, 23 (2) of the Nurses Act 1977, the Nursing Council of New Zealand on 13 November 1987 ordered that the name of the above nurse be removed from the Register of Nurses, that he pay $1,000 toward the costs and expenses of and incidental to the inquiry by the Council, that no time is fixed after which he may apply to have his name restored to the register, that a notice stating the effect of the order be published in the New Zealand Nursing Journal and the Gazette. No order was made requiring the return of certificates or badges.
