Naenae College Board of Governors Notice 1987

Pursuant to section 50 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister
of Education hereby gives the following notice:

Notice

  1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Naenae College Board of
    Governors Notice 1987.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the date of
publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. The Board of Governors of Naenae College shall be
    constituted as follows:

(a) One member appointed by the Wellington Education
Board;

(b) One member elected by the teachers at the school;

(c) Six members elected by the parents of pupils attending
the school;

(d) One member elected by the school committee of the
Naenae Intermediate School;

(e) Two members to be co-opted by the Board of Governors
itself, if and when it thinks fit.

  1. The Naenae College Board of Governors Notice 1976* is
    hereby revoked.

Authorisation of Inspecting Officer

Pursuant to Regulation 2 of the Electrical Supply Regulations
1984, I, Alan Desmond Jenkins, Assistant Secretary, Industries
and Markets Group, acting under the delegated authority of
the Minister of Energy, hereby authorise:

Name: William Robert Lowe

Occupation: Senior Inspector

Location: Wellington

as an inspecting officer to inspect electric lines or works or
both in accordance with the Electrical Supply Regulations
1984 and to inspect, test and approve prescribed electrical
work as defined in the Electrical Registration Act 1979, to the
requirements of the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976.

Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976

Specifications Declared Suitable

Pursuant to the provisions of regulation 18 (3) of the Electrical
Wiring Regulations 1976, the following specifications are
declared suitable for the purposes of those regulations.

Australian Standard

AS 2802-1985

Reeling and trailing electrical cables for mining and general
use (other than Underground Coal Mining). Elastomeric
Flexible Cables for Working Voltages 1.1/1.1 kV up to
and including 33/33 kV.

Compliance with a declared standard shall not preclude the
need to comply with the requirements of the Electrical Wiring
Regulations 1976.

Wiring Regulations 1976, the following specification is
declared suitable for the purposes of those regulations.

Approval and test specificationβ€”

Electric Shaver Supply Units.

Compliance with a declared standard shall not preclude the
need to comply with the requirements of the Electrical Wiring
Regulations 1976.

Gas Act 1982

Increased Pressure Gas Installation System

Pursuant to section 61 of the Gas Act 1982 and to regulation
37 of the Gas Industry Regulations 1984, approval is hereby
given for the construction, maintenance and operation of gas
installations in accordance with the Interim Specification titled
"Increased Pressure Installation System" Revision 1 issued by
me on 15 May 1987, or subsequent revisions, provided the
work is carried out under a valid gasfitting permit issued by
East Coast Gas Supply Ltd.

(Note: The effect of this approval is to add East Coast Gas
Supply to the schedule of franchise holders approved to certify
Increased Pressure Installation Systems).
