Declaration of a State of Civil Defence Emergency
Pursuant to section 51 of the Civil Defence Act 1983, I, Margaret Moir, hereby declare a state of regional civil defence emergency to be in force in the Borough of Greymouth and the County of Grey.
The state of regional civil defence emergency shall come into force on the time and date of this declaration.

Designation: Chairman West Coast United Council.
Time and Date of Declaration: 1800 hours on 14 September 1988.

Declaration Terminating State of Civil Defence Emergency
Pursuant to section 56 of the Civil Defence Act 1983, I, Margaret Moir, hereby terminate the state of regional civil defence emergency declared in respect of the Borough of Greymouth and the County of Grey.
The termination of the state of regional civil defence emergency shall take effect from midnight on Friday, 16 September 1988.
