Berryfruit Marketing Licensing Regulations 1983
Appointment of Deputy Members to the Berryfruit Marketing Licensing Authority (No. 4292; Ag. 1/53/2/51)
Pursuant to regulation 5 of the Berryfruit Marketing Licensing Regulations 1983, I hereby appoint
John Donald McKenzie, blackcurrant grower of Ashburton as Deputy to Messrs D. J. Eder and R. E. Holford (on the nomination of NZ Berryfruit Growers Federation Inc. to represent growers of blackcurrants) and
Alan George Bonner, blueberry grower of Te Puke as Deputy to Messrs G. G. Gibbons and W. S. Cairns (on the nomination of NZ Berryfruit Growers Federation Inc. to represent growers of blueberries)
to be deputy members of the Berryfruit Marketing Licensing Authority.

James Ross McComish, marketing consultant of Wellington (as a representative of the Government)
to be member of the Berryfruit Marketing Licensing Authority for the remainder, which is due to finish on 31 August 1989.

Fisheries Act 1983
The Fisheries (Chatham Islands Rock Lobster Closed Season) Notice (No. 4295)
Pursuant to section 85 of the Fisheries Act 1983, the Director-General of Agriculture and Fisheries hereby gives the following notice.
Notice

Title and commencement—This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Chatham Islands Rock Lobster Closed Season) Notice and shall come into force on the 14th day of March 1988.

Interpretation—In this notice, the term:
“Rock Lobster” means those fish of which the scientific names are Jasus edwardsii (commonly known as the spiny or red rock lobster) and Jasus verreauxi (commonly known as the packhorse or green rock lobster).
“Chatham Islands rock lobster fishery” means the rock lobster fishery bounded by all that area of New Zealand fisheries waters enclosed by a line commencing at the point 40° 25'S and 178°W on the outer limits of the exclusive economic zone; then proceeding along the outer limits of the zone to the point 51° 50'S and 174° 25'E; then proceeding in a straight line to the point 50° 50'S and 174° 25'E; then proceeding along the outer limits of the zone to the point 50° 55'S and 173° 50'E; then proceeding along a straight line to the point 48° 15'S and 174°E; then proceeding in a straight line to the point of commencement.
- Closed season for rock lobster determined—There is hereby determined to be a closed season for rock lobster in the Chatham Islands rock lobster fishery commencing on the 14th day of March 1988 and expiring with the 15th day of May 1988.
