Amending a Notice Declaring a Gas Pipeline Easement to be Acquired Over Land in Block VII, Belmont Survey District, Borough of Tawa

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Acting District Solicitor of the Department of Lands, Wellington, hereby amends the notice dated the 23th day of August 1985 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 5 September 1985, No. 164 at page 3847, declaring a gas pipeline easement to be acquired over land in Block VII, Belmont Survey District, Borough of Tawa, by omitting the following:

“Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that an agreement to that effect being entered into, the right to convey gas by pipeline is hereby acquired over the land described in the Schedule hereto and shall vest in the Crown on the 5th day of September 1985.”

and substituting the following:

“Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Acting District Solicitor of the Department of Lands, Wellington declares that, an agreement to that effect being entered into, the right to convey gas by pipeline and to enter for the purposes of repair and maintenance of the pipelines is hereby acquired over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and shall vest in the Crown on the 5th day of September 1985.”
