That the company, having filed a declaration of solvency in compliance with section 274 (2) of the Companies Act 1955, be wound up voluntarily and that Barrie V. Waller, chartered accountant of Whakatane be appointed liquidator.

Retraction Notice

On the 28th day of September 1988, an advertisement of a petition to wind up Variety Leisure Corporation Ltd., on behalf of the Inland Revenue Department was advertised in the New Zealand Gazette.

This advertisement was published in error and the petition should not have been advertised. The Inland Revenue Department regrets any inconvenience caused to the company and to its creditors.

Notice is hereby given that by order of the High Court at Auckland, on the 7th day of September 1988, Tremayne Control Services Limited, of Auckland was substituted as petitioning creditor on a petition presented to the High Court at Auckland on the 24th day of June 1988 and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Auckland on the 2nd day of November 1988 at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.
