Land Acquired for a Courthouse Site and a Periodic Detention Centre in the Borough of Kaikohe

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land firstly described in the First Schedule hereto and the land secondly described in the said First Schedule is hereby acquired for a periodic detention centre and the land secondly described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for a courthouse site and further declares that the said land shall vest in the Crown, subject to the agreement as to fencing described in the Second Schedule hereto, on the 15th day of September 1988.
