CLOSING OF BIDS

  1. Bids must be received by the Department of Trade and Industry in Wellington by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, 13th September 1988.

  2. Bids should be addressed to the Executive Officer, Import Licensing Tendering Section, Department of Trade and Industry, P.O. Box 3146, Wellington. Envelopes should be clearly marked "IMPORT LICENCE TENDER" in the bottom right hand corner of the envelope. Bids can be put in the Tender Box situated on the First Floor, Bowen State Building, Bowen Street, Wellington.

Points to Note:

  1. Please note that there have been some changes in the access and tariff conditions for handkerchiefs (G941) as follows: the tender level for 1988/89 has been increased by 3% rather than the 2% which has been applied to all other textile and plastic apparel; the LDC tariff level will be increased to 24% on 1 September 1988.

  2. Please also note that the amounts tendered in this round for men’s and boys’ jackets (G906 and G907) represent only 50% of the total tender allocations for 1988/89. The balance, less continuity, will be tendered later.
