Notice of Appointment of Receivers and Managers

Pursuant to Section 346 (1) of the Companies Act 1955

The Bank of New Zealand with reference to Huntly Coal Distributors Ltd., hereby gives notice that on the 4th day of August 1988 the bank appointed John Harold Gaukrodger and Donald Philip Gendall, both chartered accountants, whose offices are at the offices of Peat Marwick, Chartered Accountants, Peat Marwick House, 85 Alexander Street, Hamilton, jointly and severally as receivers and managers of the property of this company under the powers contained in an instrument dated the 27th day of April 1988. The receivers and managers have been appointed in respect of all the company’s undertaking and all its real and personal property and all its assets and effects, whatsoever and wheresoever, both present and future, including its uncalled and unpaid capital.

ACL Insurance Ltd. (formerly known as Australasia Commercial Life Insurance Co. Robert Jack of Christchurch, company director, Walter Robert Lemon of Ashburton, farmer and Frederick Charles Nicoll Anscombe of Clyde, orchardist, hereby give notice that on the 9th day of August 1988, John Melville Abbot and George Percival Walker, both chartered accountants of Christchurch, were appointed receivers and managers of Pakihi & Westport Holdings Ltd., under and by virtue of the provisions of a debenture dated the 14th day of December 1968.

The offices of the receivers and managers is at the offices of Messrs Walker, Davey & Co., Chartered Accountants, 118 Victoria Street, Christchurch.
